Bishop Grosseteste College – Internal Remodelling

Project: Internal remodeling of Student Union, Art department and various classrooms. Dance studios and music rooms. Soundproofing, ground works and drainage. Base Two: Stripping out of existing fittings, breaking out dividing wall, new benching and kitchen area. Art Department: Removal of gallery providing cupboards at each end of the room. Student Support: Disabled access increasing door opening to meet DDA requirements. Opening up entrance and kitchen area. Early Years: New fenced yard. Scotter Primary School – Disabled adaptations

Client: HBS /LCC

Timescale: 12 weeks

Value: £50k

 

Project: Extension to form disabled ramps and WC. Install steel lintels over existing openings and make good brickwork. Construct flat roof. Divert existing pipe work. Construct wooden floor on hangers. New radiators, Install new door openings, stud walls and casings. Fit new toilet, shower base and basin. Install plaster boarding, plastering and skim walls. Paint to all walls, tiling in toilet, reconnect existing drain pipes. Install ‘Polysafe’ flooring. Form new disabled ramps to hall and play ground.

 

 

 

 

Leslie Manser School - New Entrance & Link Corridor

Client: HBS / LCC  

Timescale: 20 weeks Value: £80k

 Project: Remodelling to form New Entrance and Link Corridor. The school had an original entrance around the back of the school facing the school playing field. The proposed scheme involved relocating the administration office, Head Teacher’s office, Deputy Head’s office, reception office, entrance lobby, entrance canopy and the inclusion of 30 metres of link corridor through the existing school and extension around the existing external courtyard. Alongside the relocation of services for IT points, security cameras, telephone points, fire alarm control panel and security alarm system.
