How are BS7671, BS5266, NIC EIC
and IEE important to me?
At D I S Contractors
we pride ourselves in our professionalism and safety - here you can find the
various Laws and Regulations we follow, with links to useful definitions and
explanations if you are unsure as to how these regulations apply to you. IEE
- Insitution of Electrical Engineers
The
IEE Wiring Regulations have become a standard for the NICEIC
- National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting
DIS
are long-standing members of the National Inspection Council, having joined in

voluntary regulatory body covering the whole of the BS7671
- Wiring Regulations
Here
at DIS we fully support the Wiring Regulations (otherwise referred to as BS7671)
and you can find more information and useful links for the Wiring Regulation
guidelines by visiting the IEE
Wiring Regulation Pages. BS5266
- Emergency Lighting Regulations
Another
of the regulations we adhere to, BS5266 is the code used to describe the
regulations for Emergency Lighting, and an overview of these regulations can be
found on this page. |
